The only first team player that played was their GK, and their out field players had only 42 PL appearances between them.

A few minutes later Mujangi Bia looked to score his first Wolves goal from close range after an Edwards cross from the right, but he couldn’t get a clean shot and the City keeper Dave Parton was able to save. Mujangi fired closely over the bar from a Keogh free and Andrew Surman chipped the ball over Parton and into the crossbar in the 54th minute.
