Well, after a long journey on a plane, with of course not one baby, but two within 5 seats from me, I head for the long awaited custom line. Regardless of this, I waited in line, changed my shoes to prepare for my long journey ahead with my an extra 108lbs, and ray to the custom gods that I get let through. Well, someone must have taken pity on me because despite the fact that my little immigrant card was filled out, the ones they so kindly give you on the plane to keep track of you so you don't commit a crime and become a vagabond in the UK, I had... Given at this point I smell, am tired and have no idea really what to expect, but to just follow the mass line out of the plane to get divided like cows into EU/UK citizen and "Other". I thought the states were bad when it came to making you feel like an outcast....

The rest of the trip was fine when we were on dual carriageways but … there was a long stretch of single lane with a jam leading up to and roadworks later which had the same effect. She said this was a nicer summer than the last two which somewhat surprised us. However it was a nice warm morning with the sun shining. However, we were only 1/4 of the way to Lands End when we were crawling along in fog. We arrived to find that Lands End was as we had been warned Luckily Sue had forgotten to organise bowls for cereal as we could not have eaten it, as the cooked part was huge. There had been a notice about an accident and we had also just passed one. We went to the Tea Shop for breakfast. It was a bit odd to eat breakfast in a shop but not unpleasant....
