2009 Dodge Viper SRT-10: Revisiting Its Birthplace
Our Very Orange Viper is one of the last of its kind, since Viper production stopped this summer. And the craftsmen at Metalcrafters built the very first Viper Concept for Dodge more than 20 years ago. I drove there in our long-term 2009 Dodge Viper SRT-10. The Viper's homecoming was low key. It was just me and the car celebrating its 20 year reign as America's supercar.
2009 Dodge Viper SRT-10: Hand Wash Only
Last night I just happened to catch an old rerun of "Married With Children" and it was the episode where Al was offered a 1993 Viper so long as someone from Dodge could witness Al turning over the odometer on his old Dart from 999,999. Turns out the Viper's rear tires are just too wide for the track that drags the car along. I always used to hand-wash my cars, but after touch-free systems came out I started taking it a couple times in winter specifically to wash the salt off the underside. Yesterday I tried to put our long-term 2009 Dodge Viper SRT-10 though my regular automated car wash. Categories: 2009 Dodge Viper SRT-10. I liked the system and the results so much I rarely hand wash at all any more. They don't have touch-free car washes in the capital of US car culture.
