It has been organised by Nottingham Trent University with the support of the East Midlands History and Philosophy of Architecture Research Network, an active research network linking academics across institutions in Nottingham, Lincoln and Derby. A major international conference looking at the role of 'nation' in architecture and design is being held at Nottingham Trent University on September 14 and 15. The conference, the first in a series exploring architectural theory, will feature three leading experts as keynote speakers - Professor Alex Tzonis, Professor Mitchell Schwarzer and Professor Mark Crinson. The event will be held at the Nottingham Conference Centre, a new facility created as part of the university's £90m refurbishment of its flagship Newton and Arkwright buildings....

We did not know what it was at the time as we couldnt trace the source, I actually thought it was maybe from the pub a few doors down but now I am wondering if it was the pipes. PS: Not sure if it matters but the old washer had both hot and cold inlets whereas the new one only has cold.
